Adam Weaver

Adam Weaver joined NM State Athletics in June 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for football, providing comprehensive medical coverage for Aggie student-athletes. His responsibilities include injury prevention, rehabilitation, post-operative care, emergency management, and coordinating referrals with team physicians. Weaver also oversees hydration operations and supervises both student workers and master-level athletic training students within the football program.

He came to NM State after serving two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Missouri State University. A Colorado native, Weaver earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Missouri State. He is also dry-needling Level 1 certified (2024). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hiking with his wife and dogs, and closely follows the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets.
