New Mexico State University Athletics

Rebecca Veitch joined the NM State Men’s basketball program in April 2013 and spent 13 seasons as the squad’s program coordinator. In the Fall 2026, Veitched was appointed as the NM State Athletics Program Coordinator She was previously the primary contact for travel arrangements at NM State Athletics.

As program coordinator, Veitch is responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities for NM State Athletics' 16 program.

Veitch has plenty of experience in coordinating activities and travel for the NM State athletics as she was the Corporate Travel Coordinator at Adventure Travel.  She was in charge of making reservations for air, hotel, and all ground transportation.  She would also review contracts for hotel and ground transportation. Veitch was also a liaison between NM State and any other coordinating agents.

Veitch lives in Las Cruces and is supported by her husband Reynaldo Garcia, son Brian, daughters Alexis and Mandy and stepdaughter Marisol.
