Mike Pietrack is in his second season as the Aggies' full-time Volunteer Assistant/ Catcher's Coach, and he assists Coach Wolff with the Aggies' pitching staff. Last season, the Aggies' catching staff only committed three errors in 456 chances (.993) and threw out 20 of 53 base stealers (39.6%).

Prior to working with the Aggies, Pietrack was the Head Coach for Rangely (Colo.) High School, where he was honored with the Western Slope Coach of the Year after leading the Panthers to a conference title, a regional appearance, and a 17-6 record (school record for wins). Pietrack has coached two consecutive summers in wooden bat collegiate leagues. In the Summer of 2002, he was the Pitching Coach for the Front Royal Cardinals of the Shenandoah Valley League. This summer, Pietrack was the Hitting Coach for the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods League in the Border Cats' Inaugural Season. Pietrack is a graduate of Mesa State College, where he played catcher, pitcher, and third base for the highly-touted Mavericks in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is working on his Maste''s Degree in Education at New Mexico State. Mike and his fianc?, Stephanie Kendrick, plan on getting married this summer
