New Mexico State University Athletics

Carla Guirguis joined NM State Athletics in September 2025 as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach, working with the football, women’s soccer, and swim and dive programs. She came to Las Cruces after completing a fellowship at Merrimack College and previous internships at Reach Your Potential Training and the University of Connecticut. Guirguis holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UConn and a master’s degree in exercise and sport science from Merrimack College.
