New Mexico State University Athletics

Chase Kearney joined NM State Athletics in June 2023 and serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development. He supports the department’s fundraising efforts as a development officer for the Henson Fund and provides primary oversight for the NM State Goal Line Club. Kearney also works as a sport-specific enhancement fund liaison and contributes to revenue-generation strategy and planning across the department.

Before returning to Las Cruces, Kearney held multiple administrative roles at William Jewell College, including Assistant AD for Events, Facilities & Equipment (2018–2021) and Assistant AD for Compliance (2021–2023). His career began in 2017 as an assistant baseball coach at Maple Woods Community College. Kearney earned a bachelor’s degree in general science from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the University of Saint Mary's. A former college baseball player, he began his collegiate career at NM State in 2012, playing for Rocky Ward. He is married to Danielle Meyer.
