New Mexico State University Athletics

Elizabeth Cervantes-Vanderlugt began her role as an NM State Marketing Graduate Assistant in Fall 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (Finance).

Cervantes-Vanderlugt serves as the secondary marketing assistant for NM State soccer, women’s basketball, baseball and swim/dive. She is also a fixture at all Aggie home games assisting in game day operations.

Cervantes-Vanderlugt also earned her Bachelors of Management from NMSU in Spring 2025. She was a four-year swimmer for the Aggies, and served as swim team captain for her final two seasons. She was WAC-All Academic all four years while competing for the Aggies.

In 2025, she was selected for the Conference USA Jim Castaneda postgraduate scholarship.
