Geoff Zonn joined NM State Athletics in February 2026 and serves as the Associate Athletic Trainer and Head Football Athletic Trainer. He oversees all sports medicine operations related to Aggie football while also assisting with departmental administrative duties. Zonn came to Las Cruces after three seasons as the Head Football Athletic Trainer at the University of New Mexico, following four years with Washington State and five years at UNLV, where he worked with football, baseball, softball, and tennis. His résumé also includes a seasonal internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers and a graduate assistantship at Robert Morris University. Zonn earned his bachelor’s degree from Lynchburg College and his master’s degree from Robert Morris. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with his partner, Vanessa, and their daughter, Elizabeth.
