Jill Shoquist starts her second season with the Aggie soccer program in 2012. She joined the Aggies as a graduate assistant in August 2011.

In her first season with the Aggies, NM State posted a school-record 10 wins. The Crimson and White also recorded its first-ever postseason win with a 2-1 victory over Hawai'i in the WAC Tournament.

Shoquist was a midfielder/forward at Arizona State from 2007-10. She helped the Sun Devils to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2009 and 2010 for only the second time in school history. Shoquist concluded her Arizona State career with two goals and six assists in 55 career matches and 35 contests started. As a junior, she scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over Pepperdine. In her sophomore season, Shoquist led the Sun Devils in assists with five and started in all 20 matches. She was a three-time Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention selection.

Shoquist graduated from Arizona State with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in May 2011. Currently, she is pursing a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She has a United State Soccer Federation National 'D' License.
