Ryan Pomeroy enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant for the New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team. He takes on the role after spending two seasons as a manager for the program, serving as head manager in 2025-26.
Pomeroy began working with the program ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, a season in which the Aggies went 10-8 in Conference USA, their best league mark since joining the conference. In 2025-26, NM State opened the CUSA Tournament with a 68-63 victory over Jacksonville State, the program's first conference tournament win in four years.
Pomeroy graduated in May 2026 with a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in business. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in data analytics. A New Mexico native, he was born in Las Cruces and raised in Farmington, where he graduated from Farmington High School.
