LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball starts the second half of the Western Athletic Conference slate with a road trip to Utah Valley on Thursday and Seattle U on Saturday. Thursday's match is scheduled to start at 7:30 MT with Saturday's first serve set for 2 p.m. MT.

The Aggies currently have a two-match lead in WAC play. Last week, NM State stretched their conference win streak to 21 matches, with a five-set win over UMKC and a sweep of Chicago State.

The Aggies hold a 6-1 record in the all-time series with Utah Valley. Earlier this season, the Wolverines pushed NM State to five sets, with the Aggies coming out on top with an 18-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15, 16-14 win.

So far this season, the Wolverines are paced offensively by Madison Dennison, who has racked up 190 kills and 11 service aces. Dennison also leads UVU and the WAC in blocks, averaging 1.53 per set. Nakisha Willden leads the squad and the WAC with 398 digs.

NM State currently holds an 8-1 record in the series against the Redhawks. Earlier this season, Seattle U forced the Aggies to five sets for the third straight time between the two schools. NM State was able to come away with the 25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 21-25, 15-13 victory.

This season, Seattle U is led offensively by Matea Mamic, who is averaging 3.71 kills per set. Defensively, the Redhawks look to Iris Ivanis and Maja Stonjanovic, who have 296 digs and 59 blocks, respectively.
