LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball will return to conference play on Saturday as they face off against Western Athletic Conference foe UT Rio Grande Valley on Saturday. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Pan American Center.

This will be the 13th meeting between the Aggies and the Vaqueros. NM State holds a 12-0 record in the all-time series, with UTRGV only claiming three sets in the previous meetings.

The Aggies get back into WAC play after taking a break on Wednesday to defeat I-10 rival UTEP in a 3-0 decision. NM State had three players reach double digit kills in the victory, with junior

The Vaqueros are led offensively by Ragni Steen Knudsen with 253 kills and 24 service aces. Defensively, UTRGV looks to the WAC leader in digs, Fatoumata Dacosta, who has gathered an average of 5.04 per set. They are also paced by Barbara Silva, who has 85 blocks so far this season.
