KAPOLEI, Hawaii – The New Mexico State women's golf team entered the first day of competition at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on the Kapolei Golf Course the same way they left it, tied with the field. Due to inclement weather around the island, the first two rounds of the tournament have been cancelled.
The Aggies starting five of
Pun Chanachai,
Dominique Galloway,
Kehler Koss,
Maria Prado and
Tiegan Taylor look to end the fall slate with their third straight top-five finish. To go along with leading the team in stroke average at 74.8, Galloway recently won the individual title at the team's last tournament, the Aggie Invitational, from Oct. 8-10.
All 12 competing teams get set for an 18-hole winner-take-all final tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 31. The final deciding round of competition is set for a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. HT. Live scoring for the tournament can be followed on
