LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State golf team wrapped up the first round of the NM State Aggie Invitational, the home event played at the NMSU Golf Course, on Monday. Through 18 holes, the Aggies sit in a tie for fifth out of 16 teams after shooting a nine-over, 297.
Dominque Galloway had led the individual play for NM State and sits in a tie for third after firing a 71 (-1) on day one. Galloway shot for par on 14 of the round's 18 holes.

Kehler Koss are tied up in 31
st after each golfer shot a 75 (+3) on Monday. Koss and Galloway also lead the Aggies with three birdies apiece.
Following behind to close out the Aggies starting lineup is
Maria Prado and TIegan Taylor who are tied for 45
th with a day one total of 76 (+4).
Angela Xu, competing as an individual, fired an 82 (+10) and is tied for 82
nd.
The team leaderboard is currently led by UTEP who sits in first with a team score of 290 (+2), followed by Oral Roberts in second at 292 (+4) and Cal Baptist rounds out the top three with an 18-hole total of 294 (+6).
