ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up day one of play at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational on the UNM Championship Golf Course on Monday. Through two rounds of action the Aggies sit in 16
th with a team score of 613 (+37).
After 36 holes of competition,
Dominique Galloway leads team play firing a 77-71—148 (+4) to sit in a tie for 38
th.
Pun Chanachai and
Tiegan Taylor follow behind in a tie for 66
th after each shot a 153 (+9) on day one.
Angela Xu is in a tie for 85
th with scores of 82-79—161 (+15) and
Kehler Koss rounds out the starting lineup at 80-87—167 (+23) and is in 92
nd place.
Maria Prado, competing as an individual, shot a 76-73—149 (+5) and is tied for 50
th.
The team leaderboard is led by No. 13 Kent State who has shot a (), followed by host New Mexico and No. 11 Northwestern tied for second at 573 (-3), with San Diego State in fourth shooting a 575 (-1) and UC Davis rounds out the top five at 579 (+3).
