FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The New Mexico State women's golf team completed the first round of play at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Monday at the Ptarmigan Country Club. Through the first 18 holes of action, the Aggies combined for a team score of 304 (+16) and sit in a tie for eighth out of 13 squads.

Individual play for the Aggies on day one has been led by
Dominique Galloway who fired a 71 (-1) and sits in a tie for fourth on a 73-golfer individual leaderboard. Galloway also leads the field with five birdies and a four-under on par-5 holes.
Maria Prado shot the second-best round on the team with a 77 (+5) that puts the golfer in a tie for 34
th.

Pun Chanachai and
Kehler Koss each fired a six-over, 77, and are tied for 43
rd.
Tiegan Taylor rounds out the starting lineup with a 79 (+7) and is tied for 54
th.
Angela Xu, competing as an individual, fired a 74 (+2) and sits in a tie for 16
th.

Heading into the second round of play, Boise State sits atop the team leaderboard after shooting a 293 (+5), followed by Nevada in second at 296 (+8) and San Francisco completes the top-three after firing a 299 (+11).
