LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's golf team will put the finishing touches on its successful fall season starting this weekend in Sin City.
18 teams, including the Aggies, will compete in the three-day tournament. The first round tees off at 1 p.m. MT Sunday, while the second and third rounds get going at 9 a.m. MT Monday and Tuesday.
THE FIELD
UNLV plays host, welcoming in Colorado State, East Tennessee State, Fresno State, Idaho, Long Beach State, Northern Arizona, Northern Illinois, Oral Roberts, Portland State, San Francisco, South Dakota State, Tulsa, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Nevada and Wyoming in addition to NM State.

Oregon State, not slated to compete in this year's event, is the reigning champion, firing a 26-under-par 838 at the tournament last season. Tulsa's Lorena Tseng claimed the individual title, shooting a 13-under-par 203 en route to the win.
THE AGGIES
NM State last competed in the Aggie Invitational, the squad's lone home event of the year, at the beginning of the month of October.

The Aggies cruised to first-place team finish, firing a three-under-par 861 to win by 33 strokes. Sophomore
Amelia McKee dominated on the home course, finishing at five-under-par 211 to claim the individual title.

The entire NM State fivesome finished in the leaderboard's top 25. Senior
Dominique Galloway placed second at one-under-par 215, while freshmanÂ
Alison Gastelum came in at two-over-par 218, tying for fifth.Â

Pun Chanachai, meanwhile, tied for 12th at four-over-par 220, and juniorÂ
Kehler Koss finished tied for 14th at six-over-par 222.
