LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State men's golf team has its sights set on the Bentwater Intercollegiate in Montgomery, Texas, to begin the week.

10 teams, including the Aggies, are slated to compete in the event, which is hosted by Sam Houston State and played at Bentwater Country Club. The first and second rounds of the 54-hole tournament tee off Monday, Oct. 7, with the final round getting underway Tuesday, Oct. 8.

THE FIELD
NM State, host Sam Houston State, Abilene Christian, Houston Baptist, Stephen F. Austin, Texas State, Oral Roberts, Houston, UTRGV and Prarie View A&M make up the tournament field.

Tyler Diehl and freshman
Aidan Thomas will compete for the Aggies.

Rescigno was the top Aggie finisher last time out. He tied for 56th to lead all NM State competitors at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, hosted by New Mexico, in Albuquerque, N.M.
