INDIANAPOLIS – New Mexico State volleyball's Julianna Salanoa was honored as a member of the CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team based on her performance both in the classroom and on the court.

The Olympia, Wash., native also holds a 3.96 GPA in nursing while balancing school and volleyball. The middle blocker ranks 19^th nationally in total blocks (127) and 12^th in blocks per sets (1.4) while her .371 hitting percentage ranks third in the Western Athletic Conference. Salanoa has been named WAC Player of the Week three times this season.
