LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team gets set for the Wildcat Invitational, March 11-12, in Tucson, Ariz. at the Sewailo Golf Club. Another challenging field pits the Aggies against 16 teams, including six ranked in the top-50 and three in the top-25.
NM State is joined on the course by host No. 9 Arizona, No. 17 Arizona State, Denver, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Iowa, No. 43 Iowa State, Long Beach State, Michigan, Northern Arizona, Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico, No. 32 Oregon, No. 31 Oregon State, No. 25 Purdue, San Diego State and UNLV.
The Aggie lineup for the tournament in Tucson is made up of
Pun Chanachai,
Chantal Dueringer,
Dominique Galloway,
Kehler Koss and
Maria Prado. Dueringer is making her first career tournament appearance for NM State.
Play at the Wildcat Invitational is set for three rounds over two days beginning with a shotgun start for the opening 36 holes at 8:30 a.m. MT on Monday, March 11 and the final round tees off with another shotgun start, this time at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12. Following the tournament in Tucson, the New Mexico State women's golf team makes a trip back to Arizona for the Red Rocks Invitational, March 23-24, at the Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, Ariz.
