HOBBS, N.M. – New Mexico State track and field concluded its run at the Ross Black Invitational hosted by New Mexico Junior College on Saturday. Due to bad weather, the Aggies had a shortened day at the Ross Black Field of Champions.
 
Francis Hernandez took eighth in the 1,500m when she ran 5:21.56.
 
In the javelin, 
Kayli Farmer was the top Aggie finisher, placing third with a throw of 39.12m (128-4). 
Andi Harrelson (36.73m, 120-6) and 
Alyssa Covarrubia (34.78m, 114-1) followed in fourth and fifth, respectively.
 
NM State is back in action when the team heads to the Golden State for the Mt. Sac Relays, Bryan Clay Invitational, Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and the Beach Invitational from April 18-20.
