LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team signed Tucson, Ariz., native Alex Quihuis for the 2019-20 season, head coach
Danny Bowen announced Friday.
"Alex is a very accomplished junior golfer from Arizona," Bowen said about Quihuis. "I'm very excited to add her to the 2019 class! She is quite a steady player and great competitor whose game I think will translate well to the college level. I know she will being a great work ethic to the team along with a coachable attitude and desire to get better every day."

High School: Competed for Salpointe Catholic HS in Tucson…named Southern Arizona Golfer of the Year in 2016 and 2018…placed third in DII State Championship in 2016 and 2018 with a second place finish in 2017…low round of 63.
Personal: Daughter of Diana and Albert Quihuis…has a younger brother, AJ, and older sister, Krystal…sister Krystal played golf for Arizona and currently plays on the Symetra Tour.
