CLE ELUM, Wash. – The New Mexico State women's golf team posted a 305 (+17) on Tuesday at Tumble Creek Club as  it sits in 17^th place with a 36-hole score of 321-305—626 (+50) through two days of the NCAA Cle Elum Regional.

Junior Pun Chanachai posted the strongest day of an Aggie as she shot 72 (E) including six birdies. The Bangkok, Thailand, native is in a tie for 56^th overall after shooting an 80-72—152 (+8) through 36 holes.  Dominique Galloway also had a strong day on the course, firing a 73 (+1). The defending Western Athletic Conference Champion finds herself in a 40^th-place tie at 77-73—150 (+6).

Freshman Chantal Dueringer fired an 80 (+8) on the day with an eagle on 15 as she is tied for 87^th overall while sophomore Kehler Koss made birdie three times in her first nine holes and also finished the round with a score of 80 (+8). Maria Prado rounds out the Aggie starting lineup with an 85 (+13).
 
Top-seeded and No. 1-ranked USC continued to play well as it finds itself in first place after 36 holes with a score of 281-285—566 (-10). Washington (+2) moved into second place and San Jose State rounds out the top-3 with a 289-293—582 (+5) through 36.
 
NM State is set to wrap up NCAA Regionals at Tumble Creek Club when it tees off from hole 10 tomorrow, May 8, at approximately 11:20 a.m. (MT).
