Bowen Announces @NMStateWGOLF's 2019-20 Slate

Aggies set to compete in 10 regular-season tournaments during 2019-20 season.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State women's golf head coach Danny Bowen released NM State's 2019-20 schedule on Tuesday. The Aggies play in 10 regular-season tournaments, hosting one at the New Mexico State Golf Course.
 
NM State opens the season at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic on Sept. 9-10 hosted by Utah Valley at Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah. The Aggies then head to Manhattan, Kan., on Sept. 15-16 for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Classic at Colbert Hills Golf Club. NM State closes out the month of September with a trip to the Ptarmigan Ram Classic at the Ptarmigan Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo., from Sept 23-24.
 
New Mexico State tees-off October at home on Oct. 7-9 when it hosts the Aggie Invitational at the NM State Golf Course. NM State then wraps up its fall slate at the UNLV Collegiate Showcase from Oct. 27-29 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
 
The Aggies get the spring under way at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, Calif., with The Gold Rush on Feb. 24-25 before traveling to McAllen, Texas, for the UTRGV Invitational at McAllen Country Club from March 2-3. NM State continues its busy March with two more tournaments, the Wildcat Invitational at Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., March 9-10, and the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz., at Oak Creek Country Club from March 21-22.
 
After a brief break, NM State closes out the regular-season at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz., from April 6-7.
 
Postseason action is set to take place in Kerrville, Texas with WAC Championships at Riverhill Country Club from April 26-28.
 
The 2018-19 season was a banner year for Bowen and the Aggies as they took home the WAC Championship and competed at the Cle Elum NCAA Regional. Dominique Galloway captured her first individual WAC crown, Pun Chanachai was named First-Team All-WAC and Bowen was named WAC Coach of the Year in just his second season at the helm. Also during the season, Pun Chanachai set the program record for individual wins, capturing her sixth at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.
