@NMStateTrackXC Travels for Capital Cross Challenge

NM State cross country heads to the Golden State for the weekend meet.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State cross country teams travel to the Golden State for the Capital Cross Challenge, hosted by Sacramento State on Saturday, Sept. 28. The races are to take place at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course starting with the men's 8k at 10:40 a.m. MT followed the women's 6k run beginning at 11:40 a.m.
 
During the Aggies' last meet, both the men's and women's teams posted third place finishes when competing at the Lori Fitzgerald Open. Anthony Molina clocked in first for NM State, posting a time of 20:40.18 when he finished sixth overall. Maggie Gibbs crossed the finish line first for the women, recording a time of 17:31.16 when she placed eighth in the 4.7k run.

The collegiate races from the Haggin Oaks Golf Course are set to begin at 10:40 a.m. with the men's 8k and the women's 6k race to follow at 11:40 a.m. The college awards presentation is set for 12:30 p.m., following the conclusion both races. Fans can follow along with the live results here.
