DENVER – 27 Aggie student-athletes were recognized as Fall 2019 Academic All-Western Athletic Conference honorees Friday. 

A total of 290 student-athletes across the conference's men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams were named to the list. To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

NM State volleyball placed 11 student-athletes on the list, followed by women's soccer (8), women's cross country (6) and men's cross country (2).
