PHOENIX - The NM State men's basketball team's non-conference game at Arizona orginally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12 has been canceled it was announced early Monday afternoon.
The cancellation is the third of the team's 2020-21 non-conference games following one positive COVID-19 test within the Aggies' group of Tier One individuals late Friday (Dec. 4) night. NM State announced Saturday (Dec. 5) morning it would be pausing all team activities as a result of the positive test.
Members of NM State's team travel party are still awaiting the results of the latest rounds of COVID-19 tests. All members of the travel party were administered PCR tests early Sunday morning following the team's return to the Arizona Grand and again Monday morning. Once the results of those tests are known, the Aggies will know more regarding their path toward resuming the 2020-21 season.
