SEAL BEACH, Calif. – Three Aggie competitors are in good shape after the opening two rounds of action at The Gold Rush.

Senior Dominique Galloway, freshman Alex Quihuis and freshman Alison Gastelum each came in at seven-over 151 after 36 holes of play Monday at Old Ranch Country Club and sit tied for 21st headed into Tuesday.

Quihuis fired the team's lowest round and the best of her young career, shooting a one-over-par 73 across the day's final 18 holes. Senior Pun Chanachai, meanwhile, is 11-over 155 and tied for 39th, and sophomore Amelia McKee is tied for 46th at 13-over 157.

The Aggies are in the middle of the pack as a team, sitting alone in eighth place at 31-over 607. Georgia is atop the 15-team field at six-over 582, led by Celeste Dao's tournament-best three-under 141.

The third and final round tees off at 9 a.m. MT tomorrow.
