LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Freshman 
Italia Aranzabal is set to head to Federal Way, Wash., for NCAA Diving Zones on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10.
 
"We have a very exciting week ahead to finish off the competitive season," said diving coach 
Miranda King. "We have two days here at Zones diving against some of the strongest divers in the NCAA. She has had a strong week of training and I am excited to what she can do in this new environment. I'm excited to be starting on the 1m this year as it has been a consistent event for her."
 
Aranzabal qualified for Zones in both the 1m and 3m events after a breakout freshman campaign. She won Western Athletic Diver of the Week twice, for the weeks of Oct. 8 and Dec. 26.
The native of Mexico City also set the school record for the 1m against Trinity College with a score of 275.90. She qualified for zones in both the 1m and 3m.
 
The 1m is set to be contested on March 9, starting at approximately 12:30 p.m., while the 3m will be on March 10. Live results can be found
