Rashie Hodge Jr.
The New Mexico State senior linebacker was named to the College Football News All-Independent Team, marking the second time this preseason he has garnered recognition from a national publication. He was previously named to
Phil Steele's All-Independent Second Team.
Hodge Jr. is the Aggies' top returning tackler entering the 2020 season, racking 90 total stops one year ago. The junior-college product carded a team-leading 10 tackles for loss while forcing and recovering two fumbles, breaking up two passes and snagging an interception during his first season in Las Cruces.
