2010 NM State Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Jane Egan Noble was elected to the South Dakota Golf Hall of Fame.

SIOUX FALLS, SD - New Mexico State women's golf legend Jane Egan Noble has been inducted into the South Dakota Golf Association Hall of Fame.

A four-time SDGA champion, including three Women's Amateur Championships in 1987, 1989 and 1990, Egan Noble is one of the most accomplished golfers in state history. She attended O'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls, where she was an individual and team champion and is a member of the school's Hall of Fame.

She turned professional after her intercollegiate career at NM State and had seven pro victories, played in four US Women's Open and was a member of the LPGA Tour from 2000-2002.

Egan Noble played for the Aggies from 1987-91, helping the women's program to consecutive High Country Athletic Conference titles in 1989 and 1990.

Inducted into the NM State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010, Egan Noble led the charge to a total of eight team victories, including wins at the Aggies' home tournament in 1988, 1989 and 1990. Egan was a two-time Wilson All-American, earning honorable-mention honors in 1990 and first-team honors in 1991.

Egan Noble, who also received All-High Country honors in 1990 and first-team All-Big West honors in 1991, finished her time in Las Cruces as one of only two student-athletes in program history to win at least four tournaments in her collegiate career. Under head coach Paul Brilliant, she won the Roadrunner Invitational in 1989 and 1990 while taking home the individual medal from the High Country Championships and the Southern Methodist Classic in 1990.

The Sioux Falls native was the Aggies' top finisher at the NCAA Tournament in 1990 and 1991, tying for 57th and 11th, respectively.  She graduated from NM State with the school record for the lowest score in a three-round tournament (seven-under-par 209 at the Southern Methodist Classic on Nov. 20, 1990).

Today, Egan Noble resides in Fountain Hills, Ariz., and is currently the teaching professional at Paradise Valley Country Club in Paradise Valley, Ariz. She is one of four new members elected to the South Dakota Golf Hall of Fame for 2020.
