LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Two former Western Athletic Conference foes are officially set to meet again.
New Mexico State and UTSA have agreed to play four times between 2024 and 2029, the schools announced today in a joint release. The Aggies will host the Roadrunners twice and make two trips to the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
NM State welcomes in UTSA on Sept. 20, 2025, and Sept. 22, 2029, to Aggie Memorial Stadium. The Aggies will hit the road to face UTSA on Aug. 31, 2024, and Oct. 3, 2026.
Â
The Aggies and the Roadrunners have met only once before in their history, squaring off as conference opponents during the 2012 campaign. UTSA, then a second-year program in its first season as a member of the WAC, defeated NM State at Aggie Memorial Stadium.Â
