LAS CRUCES, N.M. –After multiple positive COVID-19 tests within the NM State women's basketball Tier One group, the Aggies announced the continuation of a pause on team activity on Saturday, Jan. 23.
 
Due to the continued pause, NM State's WAC series at UT Rio Grande Valley scheduled for Jan. 29 and 30 in Edinburg, Texas, has been canceled. All Tier One individuals have received three COVID-19 tests per week since the beginning of November. 
 
New Mexico State currently sits at 1-1 in the WAC after one series of league play, splitting with GCU in Phoenix to open the conference season.
