DENVER
 – Monday morning, the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) named Mosher its Defensive Player of the Week following a pair of stellar defensive performances in the final week of regular season play.

To open the week, Mosher shined in the Battle of I-10 on Thursday as she notched four blocks to lead the Aggies in that statistical category. The Ruidoso, N.M., product also added six kills and a pair of digs in the rivalry matchup.

Mosher added to her impressive week with a six-kill outing in Saturday's four-set victory over Chicago State inside the Pan American Center. This marked her second-highest block total of the season, coming up just one shy of her season-best seven blocks on Oct. 22, 2021, against Sam Houston. In addition to her strong defensive showing, Mosher compiled 10 terminations on just 16 attacks against the Cougars.

Her week also helped NM State finish the regular season with a 10-4 WAC record to clinch its third-straight WAC regular season title and earn the No. 2 seed in the upcoming WAC tournament.

For the week, Mosher averaged 1.11 blocks per set on top of registering 16 total kills and 21 points. The big numbers last week also give Mosher four-plus blocks in six of the last seven matches for the Aggies. She has also now led the Aggies in blocks in 15 matches this season and ranks first on the team with 87.0 total blocks on the year.

Mosher and the Aggies will be back in the Pan American Center this Thursday as they kick-off their run in the WAC Tournament. NM State's opening round matchup with No. 7 Utah Valley is set to begin at 7 p.m. Fans can stream every second of the action on ESPN+ and on the ESPN app.
