DENVER - The NM State men's basketball team will make a trip to Seattle, Wash., this season, just a little later than originally planned.
Announced Thursday afternoon by the Western Athletic Conference, NM State's league game at Seattle U which was originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, has been moved to Monday, Feb. 21, 2022. Tip-off inside the Redhawk Center remains at 8:00 p.m. MT that night.
The announcement comes two days after the game was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Seattle U program.
NM State currently sits at 11-2 with the non-conference portion of its 2021-22 schedule in the books. The Aggies' 11 wins are the most by any WAC team at the moment and they have won six-straight games. NM State is scheduled to return to the court Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. inside the Pan American Center to take on Chicago State in the Aggies' first WAC contest of the 2021-22 campaign.
