NM State Football "Stock Sale"
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The time is now to invest in NM State football.
On the heels of hiring Jerry Kill as the Aggies' head coach in late November, NM State athletics has revealed a unique opportunity for Aggies across the nation to support their football team by investing in the program.
Thursday, NM State announced its inaugural Stock Sale for the Aggies' football team. A fundraising campaign for NM State Football's Goal Line Club, the "Stock Sale" begins Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. MT and allows fans the opportunity to purchase "shares" of NM State football stock via a donation from that point until March 4, 2022.
Each and every fan who makes a donation of $100 (100 shares) or more will get their hands on a customized stock certificate to display their commitment and support for NM State football. In addition, "wearable dividends" are available for fans who make donations of $500 (500 shares) or more ahead of the March 4, 2022 deadline.
"Aggie fans have a reason to be bullish about the future of Aggie football with the hiring of Jerry Kill as our head coach," commented NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia. "Coach Kill has won over 150 Division I football games in his career, has been honored with two separate National Coach of the Year awards and was named the Big 10 Coach of the Year in 2014."
"The hiring of Coach Kill comes on the heels of our November 5, 2021 announcement that NM State will become a member of Conference USA which is one of only 10 members that make up the College Football Playoff," Moccia concluded.
A goal of 100,000 "shares" of NM State football stock - or $100,000 - has been set for the "Stock Sale." All contributions to the NM State football Goal Line Club through the "Stock Sale" will benefit Aggie football and the priorities set forth by the head coach.
All financial gifts dedicated to NM State football during the "Stock Sale" are tax deductible to the extend allowable.
