After another blistering week,
Savannah Davison was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second-straight week, the league announced on Wednesday morning.

In two matches at California Baptist, the preseason WAC Player of the Year hit a scorching .396 with 28 kills on just 53 swings to average 4.67 kills per set in two Aggie sweeps. Her performances helped guide the Aggies to their 28
th-straight WAC win.

On Feb. 22, a straight-set win, Davison was unstoppable, recording 15 kills with just three errors to hit .444 as head coach
Mike Jordan picked up his 500
th career win. She followed that up with 13 kills and a .346 hitting percentage to lead NM State to a 25-17, 25-19, 25-11, sweep over CBU.

The Aggies have won 28-straight WAC matches, their last 12 sets, 24-of-27 sets played on the year and have a perfect 8-0 record on the season. NM State returns to the court when it hosts Seattle U at UTEP's Memorial gym on March 1 at 3 p.m. (MT) and March 2 at 12 p.m. No fans will be admitted but both matches are set to stream live on the WAC Digital Network.
