DENVER, Colo. - Senior Corinne Hanson took home the WAC Athlete of the Week Tuesday morning after finishing first in the 3000m steeplechase last weekend at the Aztec Invitational. This is the first time in her career Hanson has been awarded WAC Athlete of the Week. 

On Saturday, Hanson took home her second individual title of her career with an impressive showing in the 3000m steeplechase. Hanson broke the school-record with a time of 10:38.62 to capture her first title since Mar. 17, 2018. Her time currently leads the conference and is 31st in the NCAA. Hanson helped the Aggies to a fifth-place finish in a field that was stacked with Pac-12 opponents.

Hanson and the Aggies will be back in action Friday and Saturday at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi in Canyon, Texas.
