TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up the Wildcat Invitational with its best round of the tournament, 298 (+10) to finish 13
th at the two-day tournament.

"We came out the gates more determined and ready to play today," said head coach
Danny Bowen. "However. we didn't take advantage of the scoring opportunities. Attitudes were good all day even though we weren't playing our best golf. Throughout the two-week trip, we've identified areas that we need to improve for the remainder of the season. Looking forward to using our two and a half weeks to get better for our next event in Phoenix."

Amelia McKee wrapped up a solid weekend with a 75 (+3) as she finished in a tie for 29
th place after shooting a 71 yesterday.
Alison Gastelum and
Pun Chanachai each penciled in the lowest round for the Aggies as both shot a solid 74 (+2).

Alex Quihuis also posted a 3-over-par 75 while
Karen Miyamoto wrapped up her final round with a 77 (+5).

The Aggies will now have a few weeks to prepare for the Cowgirl Classic on April 5 and 6 at Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
