LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State track and field team will make the short trip to Albuquerque, N.M., for the annual Dob Kirby Tailwind Open on Thursday on the campus of New Mexico. The one-day event will begin at 10 a.m. Tickets can be found

The Schedule
Thursday will get going at 10 a.m. with the 1500m run and the javelin. Field events will conclude at 3 p.m. with the triple jump. On the track, the 1500m run will be followed by the 5000m run. There will be a two-hour break before the 4x100m relay starts the afternoon session at 12:40 p.m. The meet is scheduled to conclude at 3:50 p.m. with the 4x400m relay.Â

The Aggies are coming off its first weekend off of the season after the Bryan Clay Invitational was canceled. The Aggies last competed at the Masked Rider Open on Apr. 10 in Lubbock, Texas. The Aggies had another strong performance and continued to improve with
Mia Regan picking up her first individual title as an Aggie in the 3000m steeplechase.
Terice Steen and
Israel Swanson each ran personal-best times in the 400m hurdles to finish third and fifth respectively.
Dascha Robinson continued her strong season in the triple jump with a fourth-place finish.
Yemisi Oroyinyin added to her illustrious career with a career-best mark in the shot put.Â
