Corinne Hanson made history once again Saturday night at the Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz. Hanson broke her own school record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10.37.77. Hanson broke
Elana Kresl's record of 10:47.66 at the Aztec Invitational on Mar. 27 where she ran a 10:38.62.Â
Jess Dominguez was just two seconds short of breaking her own personal record in the 1500m run. Dominguez finished 14th with a time of 4:49.36.
Emily Stutesman ran a personal-best in the 5000m to finish fourth. Stutesman broke her own record by nearly 11 seconds, as she ran a 17:21.82 to finish fourth.
Maggie Gibbs finished sixth with a time of 18:11.67.Â
The Aggies will be back in action next Saturday at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz., before heading to the WAC Championships on May 13-15.Â
