LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's volleyball team earned a United States Marine Corps and American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the Spring 2021 season, the AVCA announced on Monday.

This is the fourth-straight year in which the Aggies have received the award. The award was started during the 1992-93 academic award and is given to collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintain a 3.30 cumulative team GPA.

NM State als0 had a stellar year on the court where it finished 16-2 despite playing just two home matches the entire season. The Aggies picked up their second-straight WAC Regular Season title and saw five Aggies earn All-WAC awards including Freshman of the Year
