NM State Golfer Aidan Thomas Named a GCAA NCAA DI All-American Scholars

The 2021 WAC Freshman of the Year held a 3.66 GPA this spring.

NORMAN, Okla. -- NM State golfer Aidan Thomas has been named a GCAA Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar, the GCAA announced Friday.

A marketing major from Albuquerque and the 2021 WAC Freshman of the Year, Thomas finished the spring semester with an impressive 3.66 GPA.

In order to be selected by the GCAA, an athlete must have a stroke-average under 76.0 and needs to maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
