VAIL, Colo. --Â The NM State women's golf program closed out action at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic Wednesday.

The Aggies finished yesterday's second round that was postponed after 12-15 holes due to darkness. The tournament was slashed to 36 holes due to the inclement weather yesterday and today.

As a team, the Aggies fired a team score of 601 (+25) to finish tied for 15th with Central Arkansas and Long Beach State.

Amelia McKee bounced back from an opening-round 75 to fire a -3 under round of 69. McKee finished yesterday's round at -4 overall and used an eagle on the par-five fifth to get to
-3 overall and -6 on the day, but three bogeys on the final four holes pushed McKee back to even par for the tournament. The Texan finished tied for 13th.

Alison Gastelum fired a four-over round of 76 to finish at +4 overall. Playing as the Aggie's No. 1 player, Gastelum opened with an even-par round of 72.

East Tennessee State fired a final round team score of 291 (+3) to finish first. ETSU's final score of -6 was one shot clear of Denver who finished at -5.
BYU finished at +1 overall to place third, while Washington State finished one shot behind (+2) to place fourth. Colorado (+7), Kennesaw State (+9), Northern Arizona (+12), Pepperdine (+12), Minnesota (+14), Kansas (+18) and Rutgers round out the top-10 finishers.

Anna Cathrine Kreklin of Denver backed up her opening round 66 with an even-par round of 72 to hold off Tereza Melecka to win individual medalist honors.

The Aggies return to action next Monday-Wednesday (Oct. 4-6) for the Aggie Invitational at the NMSU Golf Course. The event will be the Aggie's final event of the fall season. Teams attending the Aggie Invite include Boise State, Dixie State, Long Beach State, Santa Clara, Seattle, Southern Utah and Stephen F. Austin.
