LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State Football is bowl eligible. After receiving approval from the NCAA, the Aggies are officially eligible for bowl play for the first time since 2017.
 
The Aggies will find out their destination on Sunday, December 4 where they may be heading. Updates regarding a potential bowl game will be announced through NM State Football social media platforms and through nmstatesports.com.
 
A bowl game would be the fifth in NM State history, joining the 2017 NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, 1960 Sun Bowl, 1959 Sun Bowl, and 1936 Sun Bowl.
 
As announced Tuesday, NM State will host Valparaiso on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT inside Aggie Memorial Stadium. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or the Pan American Center Box Office by calling (575) 646-1420. For fans who are unable to make the trip to Las Cruces, the game will air on FloFootball, Bally Sports Arizona, Comcast New Mexico.
