Final Results
LAREDO, Texas – After finishing the first day of the Border Olympics in ninth-place, the NM State men's golf team managed to climb the leaderboard on Tuesday afternoon. The Aggies finished the tournament tied for seventh with Illinois State, shooting a combined 900.

After a hot second round yesterday,
Aidan Thomas once again paced the Aggies on Tuesday. In his third round, Thomas finished with a 75, tied with
Alvaro Morales for the best card on the day for the Aggies.

Garrison Smith was once again right in the mix of things for the Aggies. Smith matched his second round score and carded a 76, finishing with a 224 over three rounds.

As an individual,
Trey Diehl finished with a 80 on Tuesday for a grand total of 235 over three rounds. The Farmington, N.M. native finished in a tie for 73rd overall.

Round Three
- After starting on hole 10, Thomas birdied holes 16 and 17 to finish the back nine even.
- Morales played an extremely clean round of golf, parring 16 of the 18 possible holes on Tuesday.
- Garrison Smith birdied each of his final three holes to finish the afternoon with a 76.Â
