Sanchez-Oliver to Add Depth at Guard Position in 2022-23

Aggies add Delaware State transfer.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Just when it looked like the Aggies had solidified the group they would enter the 2022-23 campaign with, one more piece has been brought on board.
 
Head Coach Jody Adams announced Tuesday that Philadelphia-bred guard Sianny Sanchez-Oliver will be headed to The City of Crosses.

· Started 13 of 15 games she participated in with the Hornets last season.
· Averaged 8.7 points while recording 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 steals per game across 32.1 minutes of playing time per contest.
· Poured in a season-high 13 points on 6-of-8 from the field to go along with four assists in the season opener at Stony Brook.
· Reached double-digit scoring figures in five of Delaware State's first six tilts and eight times on the season.
· Finished two boards shy of a double-double against N.C. Central when she notched 11 points and eight rebounds.
· Recorded four or more assists on six occasions during debut season.
· Helped drive McEachern High School to 58 combined wins in three seasons, including reaching the state semi-finals during her freshman and senior season.
· Named Second Team All-Region among 2021 GHSA Class 7-A Region 2 as a senior after leading the Indians to a 19-5 overall record and a perfect 8-0 record in region contests.
· Helped lead McEachern to 11-straight wins before falling to eventual state champion Marietta by just one point.
· One of only four players to play in all 22 games in her senior season.
· Averaged 5.5 points, 5.0 assists, 3.8 steals and 3.7 rebounds per game in final year of high school career.
