VAIL, Colo. – Two tournaments. Two top-five finishes. The NM State women's golf team rounded out the Golfweek Red Sky Classic tying for fifth place with Washington State and Xavier. Individually,
Alison Gastelum also carded her second top-ten finish of the young season.
Gastelum, a Chihuahua, Mexico native, finished the final round at one-under par, shooting 214 (-2) for the tournament. Eyeing down a podium finish in the late stages of the tournament, Gastelum came up just short but still tied down back-to-back top-ten finishes to open 2022-23.
