LAS CRUCES, N.M. – For the second time in five years, the Aggies are bowl champions. With the 24-19 victory over Bowling Green at the 2022 Quick Lane Bowl, the start of the offseason also becomes ring season.
As the program did in 2017, any individuals interested in assisting with the purchase of bowl rings for the NM State football team can do so via donation to the NM State Football program. A $1,000 contribution will pay for three rings for NM State's student-athletes and coaches. In addition, donors will have the opportunity to purchase an authentic ring of their own at cost.
Aggie Athletics is looking for support from its tremendous fan base as the cost of bowl rings is not a budgeted item. Championship rings will be designed by the team's senior class in the coming weeks.
