Aggie Athletic Club Achieves Record for Annual Giving

1,149 AAC members combine to contribute nearly one million dollars in 2022-23.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Aggie Athletic Club has reached a historic milestone in its fundraising efforts. The organization has announced that it has raised a record-breaking $931,181.84 in total revenue across the 2022-23 giving year.

The nearly seven-digit figure also represents a 14.3% increase from last year's total and stamps the AAC's highest single-year giving total in the history of NM State athletics, marking an increase of greater than $100,000 from the previous record of $814,826 set last year.

The fundraising efforts were made possible by the generous donations of 1,149 individuals, which is a 14.5% increase from last year's donors despite the challenges the department has experienced over the last several months. These donations will enable NM State Athletics to continue its growth and success moving forward.

"When our administration arrived eight seasons ago, the Aggie Athletic Club was raising just over $160,000 annually," noted NM State Deputy Director of Athletics and AAC Director of Fundraising Chet Savage. "To be in the shadow of the one-million-dollar mark in such a short period of time speaks volumes to the generosity of the Aggie fanbase. We appreciate the support of Aggies across the nation that support the first-class experience we are able to provide our student-athletes through the Aggie Athletic Club."
