DALLAS – A tremendous showing from Emma Bunch at the Badger Invitational has been capped by earning Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week honors. On Wednesday morning, the conference announced that Bunch, alongside Owen Stamper from Middle Tennessee State were named Players of the Week, presented by Blenders Eyewear.

Bunch becomes the first member of either NM State golf program to be named CUSA Player of the Week. During the Badger Invitational, Bunch fired a career-best 66 (-6) in the second round. During Tuesday's final round, Bunch posted her second straight bogey-free round, shooting a 67 (-5).
 
The sophomore from Lynge, Denmark capped off the three-day event with her second straight runner-up finish. Bunch also posted the lowest 54-hole tournament score of her career, shooting a 208.
 
Bunch and the Aggies will be back in action on Monday, September 25 at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in Vail, Colorado. During the 2022 edition of the Red Sky Classic, Bunch tied for 27th, carding a 221.
